When I was a child, I watched actors like Johnny Depp (most known for playing Jack Sparrow) and Alan Rickman (most known for playing Professor Snape), and I dreamed of a future where I could be on a set and deliver such an immersive performance that II make watchers forget that they were only watching a screen, as these actors have done for me. I dreamed of a future where I could transport people to different realities and alternate lives where the things they try to forget, don't even exist. As I grew older, however, I realized that my stage-fright would be the thing to hold me back from doing so. I quit my dream of going to drama school and becoming an actress, and decided to refocus my attention solely on writing. I realized that writers have just as much the ability to do those things than actors do. Therefore, my dream has not gone away, but just developed into a realistic one based on my experiences and abilities.
